College is often a time for students to both learn skills to earn a livelihood and ask big questions about one’s purposeful vocation in life. This seminar explores alignment and conflict between these two important goals.

Fantasy Football and the Good Life (Honors, Fall 2024)

This is a course about work and the good life, masquerading as a course about fantasy football. It explores whether there is room in the good life for frivolous pursuits like fantasy football and whether a successful competitor can be a good person.

Principled Leadership in Literature and Film (Graduate, Fall 2024)

In this class, we encounter enlightening and entertaining stories that help us envision principled leadership in the present century in which business promises to balance shared value and share value, stakeholders and stockholders, and meaning and money.
